2013 Desert Hills Youth Cross Country Camp
Youth runners will play a number of fun games (i.e. tag, sharks and minnows, foot races, ultimate Frisbee) while meeting and working with Thunder cross country runners. Runners will split into different age groups based on numbers in each grade. This camp is open to youth K-8^th grade. We will meet at the Thunder Stadium (sometimes Little Valley Park) on Thursdays throughout the summer from 9 – 10:00am on the following dates: June 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25, and August 1. If a youth runs the total marathon distance (26.2 miles) over the entire summer, they will receive a THUNDER CROSS COUNTRY t-shirt. The camp will conclude with a cross country style race! All DHHS AP students. There is an important change in how you’ll get your AP scores. This July, your AP scores will only be available online. You will not get scores in the mail. To get your AP scores, you must sign up for a free College Board account at apscore.org. Again, AP scores will only be available online, so we encourage you to sign up for a free College Board account today.

Congratulations to our Girls Golf Team on their 4 th consecutive state championship!! Katie Perkins took 1st, Megan Welch 2nd, Kyla Smith 7th, and Lindsay Short 9th! Along with Ashley Kraft and Ashley Ferguson! Congratulate these ladies and Coaches Dyer and Dyer!!!
